Diablo 4 Season 10 has made adjustments in many aspects, among which the adjustment of General Buffs is very important buy Diablo 4 items.
One of the General Buffs that got a noticeable adjustment is Crazy Brew. Its cooldown has been bumped up from 10 to 15 seconds, but the twist is that it’s now affected by cooldown reduction. On top of that, its duration has been stretched from 4 to 5 seconds. You’ve got to wait a bit longer before using it again, but since cooldown reduction still works on it, it feels more flexible. Plus, that extra second of uptime makes it hit harder if you time it right.
Brute Force Over Wisdom also got some love. The suppression damage bonus now scales from 75% to 125% instead of the old 50% to 100%. That’s a solid buff for anyone chasing higher damage output. It makes hitting harder while staying durable an even more appealing option.
Alternate Transformation was another General Buffs that got a damage boost. Its bonus damage now runs 40% to 60%, doubled from the previous 20% to 40%. Builds that lean on transformations are going to feel way more rewarding, and you can expect to see a noticeable jump in overall damage if you weave it into your setup.
Unleash Chaos, meanwhile, feels like it got the biggest buff. The critical chance for chaos burst went from 20% to 30%, and the damage doubled, moving up from 50%–100% to 100%–200%. This boost is huge and makes Unleash Chaos even more threatening.
Not everything was a buff, though. Battle-Worn Bulwark has been nerfed, with its armor bonus cut down from 20%–40% to just 10%–20%. That’s a pretty big nerf for players who leaned on it for survivability, and it’s going to force some rethinking when it comes to defense. It may be necessary to pair it with other defensive skills, or make different equipment adjustments to make up for the lost defense.
Season 10’s changes make General Buffs feel sharper and more deliberate: Offense got juiced in several places, while defense took a step back, which fits the season’s theme of pushing more aggressive play diablo 4 unique items. The system feels more engaging now, and it pushes players to adapt and explore new builds as they dive into the chaos of Sanctuary.
