In the Grow a Garden cooking update, you can turn your harvested crops into mouthwatering meals with the guidance of Chris P. Bacon, the in-game chef. Chris P. has cravings every hour, and cooking the dishes he wants will earn you special rewards. Sushi is one of the most popular recipes, and it comes in several rarities, from Normal to Prismatic.
Step-by-Step Guide to Cooking Sushi
- Collect Ingredients
All sushi recipes require Bamboo and either Corn or Violet Corn. Depending on the rarity of sushi you want to cook, you will need additional ingredients such as tomatoes, mangoes, Bone Blossoms, or rare fruits. - Go to the Cooking Pot
The Cooking Pot is located in the center of the island. Approach the pot and equip the ingredient you want to add. - Add Ingredients
Interact with the pot to add ingredients one by one. Each ingredient will appear in the Ingredients list on the left side of the cooking interface. Ensure that you add the correct quantities for the desired recipe. - Cook Your Dish
Once all ingredients are in the pot, press the Cook button. If your recipe matches Chris P.’s current craving, it will display a [Craving] confirmation. Cooking a craving recipe will give bonus rewards. - Collect and Serve
After cooking, interact with the pot again to collect your sushi. To serve it to Chris P., equip the finished dish, speak to him, and select: “4. Try this food I cooked up!” - Repeat for Rewards
Chris P.’s cravings reset every hour, so you can cook multiple sushi dishes throughout the day to maximize your rewards.
